The Adventures of LhasaFam: Welcoming Gigi

Enter stage left: Chic Choix Tiny Jewels Mariko Ichiban, or as we affectionately call her, Gigi. With a name like that, you know she's destined for greatness. The breeder presented us with four adorable female puppies, each with a pedigree that would make any dog show judge swoon. But how to choose?

After much deliberation, it came down to Gigi and her litter sister. The tension was palpable. Who would win the coveted spot in our home? The deciding factor, you ask? The bite. Yes, the bite. Having had my fair share of Lhasa Apso pups, I was on high alert.

We spent hours watching the girls play, analyzing their every move like we were judges on a canine version of "America's Got Talent." And then it happened. Gigi's gentle nibble sealed the deal. She was the one.

Gigi is not just a pretty face; she's a bundle of joy wrapped in fur. At this stage of her development, she's already showing signs of being a very correct Lhasa Apso. Her natural personality shines through—brave, tail wagging non-stop, and just the right amount of that classic Lhasa Apso arrogance. It's that little bit of sass that makes the breed so endearing.

Bringing Gigi home was like introducing a new character into a long-running sitcom. She fit right in with the pack, her smart little eyes taking in everything. The breeder did a fantastic job with her house training, and so far, no accidents. It's like she's been part of the family all along.

Gigi's presence has already brought so much joy and laughter into our lives. She's a little whirlwind of energy, curiosity, and affection. Watching her explore her new home, interact with her new siblings, and settle into her new life has been a heartwarming experience.
