Norway Trip 2024: Our Epic Dog Show Adventure

The Road to Tromsø

We packed our bags, loaded up the car, and hit the road with high hopes of snagging a Nord cert, Norwegian cert, and a Cacib. Little did we know, we were about to exceed our wildest expectations. Spoiler alert: we didn’t just meet our goals; we crushed them!

The Show Results

Our little superstar, C.I.B.-J NORDIC CH NO CH FI CH FI JCH SE CH LT JCH LV JCH EE CH EE JCH LV CH BALT JCH COLOMBIAN FRIEND’S DOM PÉRIGNON (yes, he has more titles than a royal family), absolutely stole the show. We walked away with a Cacib, resCacib, Nord cert, and Norwegian cert, plus 2 x BOS placings. Dom Pérignon finished the Nordic and Norwegian Championships and even snagged a Cacib from the third country. Now, we just have to play the waiting game to complete his International champion title with the time Cacib. Talk about a showstopper!

Scenic Norway

But it wasn’t all about the dog show. Norway’s breathtaking scenery was the perfect backdrop for our adventure. From majestic fjords to stunning mountains, every view was a postcard moment. I’m pretty sure my camera roll is now 90% Norway and 10% dog show.

New Friends and Kind People

One of the best parts of the trip was meeting so many kind people and making new friends. The dog show community is like one big, happy family, and we felt right at home. Plus, who doesn’t love bonding over adorable, award-winning dogs?
